EARLY ORTHODONTIC TREATMENT
We often recommend early preventative care that can eliminate or reduce treatment later. We specialize in recognizing children’s orthodontic problems before they occur. This is why we recommend that a child be seen for an exam no later than age 7. At an early age we are able to evaluate a child for overbites, open bites, extreme crowding, recessed lower jaw, side-to-side and front-to-back relationships. We reposition and expand the jaws of children to make room for teeth and improve facial profiles. It is easier to effect results when your child is still growing and before they have all their adult teeth. It is amazing and rewarding to see improvements in these young children. Children with habits such as mouth breathing and thumb sucking can be treated early to minimize the effect of the habit. TEEN ORTHODONTIC TREATMENT
Braces offer a wonderful method to provide broad, beautiful smiles that can benefit the individual for the rest of his or her life.
